Second Annual Boone County Harvest Fest

What is the Harvest Fest All About?

It’s about fun for ages…

It’s about connecting our community…

It’s about making memories!

 

 

10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Baltic Mill Festival Arts Area in Belvidere Park 
5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Spencer Conservation Area in Boone County Conservation District  

The celebration of the harvest begins at 10:00 a.m. with bountiful activities!

Stroll along Scarecrow Row, where uniquely designed Scarecrows line the path.

Scarecrow Contest is open to everyone!  Click here for details.
(entrants may arrive at 8:00 a.m. for setup, must be completed by 9:30 a.m.)

  
From 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. in Belvidere Park you will enjoy:

 Local vendors displaying & selling wares in the Baltic Mill Festival Arts area

 
U
nique bicycles on display on Kishwaukee Riverfront Path

 Guided tours of the Baltic Mill by local historian, George Thomas.

 Children’s Area where children can celebrate the harvest with the
Build-Your-Own Scarecrow and Pick-A-Pumpkin Patch

Children will delight in the creative designs in face painting
by Paint A Party Face

Antique Tractor displays

Giant Pumpkin and Sunflower Contest

From 2 - 3 p.m. the harvest season comes to life with
Children's Scary Stories presented by Libbie Rodakowski

 Musical entertainment will be provided throughout the day at the Baltic Mill Stage

           Delicious food will be available for purchase with such tasty treats as:
Toni's Kettle Corn & Shaved Ice, Wood Fire Brick Oven Pizza, Cotton Candy and more!

        From 1 - 4 p.m. a Wine, Cheese, & Beer Tasting (21 and over only) 

                        At 3:30 p.m. the winning entries will be announced for the business
Traveling Trophy 
and Community Scarecrow Contests

From 5 - 9 p.m. the FUN continues in Spencer Conservation Area with:
 
The kids will love the tractor pulled wagon rides

                                     Relax by a glowing bonfire where you can make your own  gooey s’mores 
            and fireside music will serenade you under the pavillion 
           
                               Food will be available from the Lion's Club and Wood Fire Brick Oven Pizza
